Description
This is a comprehensive survey of the systematic theology of John Calvin as contained in the Institutes of Christian Religion. The purpose of this course is to acquaint the student with the fundamental doctrines of Reformation theology that underpin Christian philosophy. PHL 307 introduces the student to Calvin’s doctrine of God, the Trinity, the scriptures, creation, man, and Christ.
